T's & C's

Terms & Conditions

General

  • We are trained in musculo-skeletal diagnosis and treatment only.
  • Full details, medical history and injury/discomfort details will be taken during the first consultation and treatment session.  This is to allow any underlying contributing factors to be identified by your therapist
  • Courses of several treatments may be advised
  • For critical injuries, suspicion of deeper injury than presented, or requirement of medical confirmation of injury or allowance to receive treatment, referral to your local GP or A+E Department may be advised.
  • Clients will NOT be treated if under the influence of alcohol or drugs (prescribed or otherwise) and may be referred to their GP.  We also have a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy towards violence and abuse in the workplace - please respect your therapist.

  • Please make sure to attend your appointment on time, with at least five minutes to spare.  Your short waiting time will allow you time to relax a little!
  • Towels will be used to cover you as necessary.  As our therapists work with you and move you around the massage couch, towels will be rearranged to expose the necessary area of skin.  This sometimes requires turning the towel into, or moving, underwear.
  • You will NEVER be asked to remove any underwear completely, however, you may be asked to move some around to expose the right area of skin, e.g. undoing a bra-strap in order to massage the back.  Again, towels will be moved to protect your modesty.  We also recommend bringing a pair of shorts to all your appointments.

Timings

  • If you are late, your appointment will still end at the given time and the total fee charged.
  • If we are late, we will ensure you receive your full treatment time. If this is unsuitable for you, we will re-schedule your appointment with no additional fee.
  • If you cannot attend for your treatment, or wish to amend your appointment time, please contact us as soon as you possibly can so that other clients may book your original treatment time.

  • Cancellation and amendment charges apply as follows:
  • More than 24hrs notice                         no charge
  • Less than 24hrs notice                          50% of full treatment cost*
  • Less than 2hrs notice / no show         100% of full treatment cost*

  • Any cancellation charges will either be requested to be paid within 14 days of your cancelled appointment, or added to your next treatment fee; whichever is sooner.

  • Cancellation charges can be paid either in person, or will invoiced to you via PayPal.

  • If payment is not received within 14 days, interest will be charged at the terms set out in the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 2002, which is specified at 8% plus the statutory base rate.

  • Extensive periods of non-payment (over 6 months) may result in legal action being taken through the Small Claims Court.

  • The General Timings & Amendment Charges policies apply to all sessions included in our Bundle packages. Changes/cancellations less than 24hrs and no-shows will lose one session from their bundle.

* Full Treatment Cost = no discount schemes applied, full standard rate charged

Privacy Policy

  • The contact details you provide at the time of booking will be used to send you booking confirmation and reminder SMS messages and emails.
  • We use an online booking system with banking-grade information security; then use a password and two-stage verification for access.  This information is kept solely and wholly by Mr Jay Cramb, owner and director of Ridgestone Physical.

  • The information gathered at your Initial Consultation is used to help your therapist understand your background and medical history for any contributing factors to your current condition, and to identify any 'red-flags' that would prevent them from treating you.
  • We do not wish to cause you any harm during your treatment or exacerbate any underlying conditions that we are not informed of.  Therefore, we ask for full disclosure of the required information at your Initial Consultation for your safety.
  • This information is manually recorded and securely stored, accessible only by your therapist, and the owner, Mr Jay Cramb.
  • Your records will be held for a period of seven (7) years.

  • We will also ask at your appointment if you would like us to stay in touch with you.  This will be for us to send you:
  • further booking confirmations and reminders for future appointments
  • our monthly newsletter starting at the end of May 2018
  • information about any periodic offers & events we will be running
  • personalised communications with relevant information and/or links specific to your treatment, if discussed at your appointment

  • YOUR INFORMATION WILL NEVER BE SOLD TO A THIRD-PARTY COMPANY.  However, we do use MailChimp as a third-party provider for our mailing lists and promotional activity.  Again, this is password, two-step verification and MailChimp security protected, with details held by Jay Cramb.
